Performs a variety of world wide, technical and administrative work in the development, installation and maintenance of all global business transaction and information technology system solutions. Specializing in global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial reporting. Extensive experience in Finance including design, implementation, testing installation, training and end user work instruction and documentation preparation.
Serves as a Project Manager and leads a number of key projects, including financial consolidation, for Finance and the Company.
Works directly with the Finance department to understand project concept, objectives and approach.
Serves as liaison between internal business units and the IT Development Team by evaluating the internal technical needs within the Company and defining system and functional requirements.
Internal Client Support
Responsible for client satisfaction, adoption and ROI for systems and processes.
Serves as a functional expert on the specified applications as the main point of contact between the Finance and the IT Department.
Responsible for communication and education for assigned business unit, including training employees on applications, databases and operating systems.
Proactively identifies training and development requirements of the appropriate business unit.
Provides end user support.
Quality Assurance and Testing
Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, end user test plans, and other quality assurance assessments.
Designs and documents workflow and makes appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.
Ensures that all tests are conducted and documented according to standards agreed upon by the appropriate business unit and the IT Department.
Ensures that all documentation accurately reflects the current status of changes and outstanding issues so that business requirements reflect application features and functions.
Ensures that all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the appropriate software.
Ensures continuing operational quality by documenting bug fixes and enhancements and testing and releasing updates.
Collaborates with all functional business units within the Company to achieve strategic, tactical and project goals.
Provides leadership needed to instill a team-oriented, client-driven, and results-driven team.
Identifies, plans, schedules, prioritizes, organizes, manages and reports on the tasks and resources required to accomplish defined objectives of specific manufacturing, materials, logistics distribution, finance and/or operational projects.
Assures assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget and performs cost control activities.
Monitors revenues and expenditures to assure sound fiscal control.
Assures effective and efficient use of budget funds, personnel materials, facilities and time.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time; both domestic and International travel is required.
Typical work related travel assignments range 1-2 weeks and as such overnight, out-of-town/country stays are required.

Minimum of 10 years' experience in Finance including design, testing installation, training, support and end user work instruction and documentation preparation required
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects, budgets and teams required
Background in medical devices/supplies, pharmaceuticals, and/or distribution preferred
Experience with a start-up and/or multinational company preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance; or, 4 year degree in Information Technology, MIS, Business Administration, or closely related field; or, equivalent work experience in multiple areas required
General Skills/Competencies/Specialized Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of integrated enterprise resource applications with a concentration in Finance required.
Experience with QAD strongly preferred.
Knowledge of electronic commerce principles and practices.
Working knowledge of Progress databases and programming languages.
